Being IES JOAQUÍN ARAÚJO a bilingual school, and having been in the AURA team for the second year, I've thought we should have a section in English! This thought has come quite late in the year, so we haven't got much to show in this edition, but I hope this will be a permanent and more important section in future editions of AURA!

In 1º ESO, as in previous years, our students have participated in the Spelling Bee contest, where they had to spell words. Here you can see some of the words they had to spell. Blue words are from Sección, purple ones are from Programa
Our students of 2º ESO Sección participate every year in Global Scholars, a project where students work together with students from all over the world on a certain topic.
Each year, students are assigned a different topic to work on. This year, they have been learning about overconsumption.
On the right, you can see what the project is about, explained by students who have been working on it this year, and below, you can find some posters about overconsumption that the students have prepared.
On the last weeks of the year, the students have been presenting their project to students in 1º ESO A and B, and to students in the CEIP Cervantes.
